TWO NURSERY RHYME POEMS FROM A TEXT WORLD THEORY PERSPECTIVE

The analysis of two nursery rhyme poems from the perspective Text World Theory shows complexity discourse structure genre that is popularly believed to be young children-oriented. According P. Werth, J. Gavins, Stockwell, text worlds (alternative spelling: text-worlds) are mental constructs/representations enable author create a particular and readers/listeners, understand interpret it. Such greatly depend on linguistic cues context text, as well one’s general knowledge real world his/her literary experience.
